Trailhead Capital launches partnership with Rodale Institute to advance innovation and investment in regenerative organic food and agricultural practices.
Boulder, Colorado, USA – Trailhead Capital today announced a new partnership with Rodale Institute to accelerate regenerative organic food and agriculture innovations and investment. Rodale Institute, widely recognized as a founder of the modern organic movement, will bring their collective resources, expertise, and advisory teams to work with Trailhead in promoting global and human health through regenerative agriculture methodologies.
Rodale Institute is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Pennsylvania, focusing on expanding the regenerative organic movement through research, farmer training, and consumer education. Since 1947, Rodale Institute has had an extensive track record in advocacy, education, and innovation that helps to guide the agricultural community towards a more regenerative future.
“Rodale is the standard bearer for research and science-based regenerative organic agriculture practices. After more than 70 years of committed research, their insights are more important than ever. We are humbled and excited to be working closely with them to advance the regenerative organic agriculture mission,” commented Tripp Wall, Managing Partner at Trailhead Capital.
Rodale Institute will join Trailhead Capital in a strategic advisor role, offering consulting, feedback, and expertise for the Trailhead Regeneration Fund, as well as connecting farmers with the Trailhead Capital team. Trailhead Capital will use its considerable expertise in the Western region to support Rodale Institute in future expansion opportunities to empower organic farmers in area.
Ultimately, the goal of this partnership is to increase regenerative organic acres, working with farmers to transition their land from conventional practices and build a bridge between the old and new paradigm in food and agriculture.
“Investment is a critical factor in our path to a regenerative organic future,” said Jeff Moyer, CEO of Rodale Institute. “We’re happy to bring our decades of on-farm expertise to the table and work alongside Trailhead Capital to ensure that farmers have every resource they need to regenerate their business.”
Today’s announcement builds on Trailhead Capital’s work to advance early-stage tech-enabled regenerative agriculture investments. The fund aims to improve outcomes for ranchers and farmers through its investments and promote the localization of the food and ag system to bring nutrient-dense, fresh food at affordable prices.
